turkey break

i just realized november went so fast. after cortaca weekend we had one weekend then thanksgiving break. november came and went! i was excited to go home for break because i didnt for like over a month. i was supposed to go home tuesday with my friend from home, but she ended up going to visit her bf at esu so it left me with my mom getting me monday night. that wasnt too bad because i got an extra day at home, but it sucked cuz i planned on handed work in at my classes tuesday morning so i had to email everything, i felt bad.
so onto break.. i had a blast at home. usually its boring as hell because we live in such a small town that nothing ever goes on. but all the college kids were home, so it was awesome seeing everyone.. and suprisingly there was something to do every night. my friend taylor at home hates being bored, and so do i.. so we made it our goal to find stuff to do. then i worked wednesday friday and saturday at my job at wet seal at our mall. it was great seeing everyone, they were excited so have the college workers back. and the shifts went so fast because all the sales going on, it was non stop busy. i thought it was going to be horrible working on black friday, but i loved it haha. all the customers were nice for once, because our sales were awesome, and they had sympathy for us working on such a busy day. it was nice making some extra money for the little time being home.
then thanksgiving day was fun tooo. we never have alllll the family over, usually one side does their own thing with their other side of their families, so it leaves us with just my aunt uncle and little cousin. but this year everyone was over and i had alot of fun with my older cousins. we caught up about everything and joked around with the adults the whole time. i hate thanksgiving dinner, i only eat the turkey. i hate being such a picky eater, but honestly.. some of the food is just nasty.
even though we were gone for like 5 days, i couldnt wait to come back to cortland! thats so sad. im going to go through serious withdrawal over winter break!
