facebook

im pretty sure if there wasnt facebook, or myspace.. then i wouldnt be distracted all the time doing my school work. you go on to check one thing, and next thing you know your on there for an hour!! i know its my fault for going on it in the first place, but its just so distracting. ive gone on my computer to do homework and automatically checked facebook first, its horrible.
nowadays parents are getting facebooks!! i cant stand when my mom finds something out then says she heard someone saw on facebook. im pretty sure everything on my page i put on private..but somehow people find ways around it! then i have parents asking to be my friend, do they honestly think ill accept!!? my moms friend at work asks her everyday why i didnt accept her as a friend my mom was like she doesnt want you to see her stuff! so at least my mom understands where im coming from.. thank god.
then i hate how future jobs look at your facebook to see what kind of person you are. i feel like these things let us be who we are, and if theres pictures of drinking.. then who cares at least we're being responsible. i dont think it should all be held against us. but thats just my opinion... anyone else have thoughts about this?
