rugby

on saturday we had our first scrimmage, and i finally understand the game now. i never thought you actually had to play the game to know how it is, i couldnt understand why they couldnt just teach us it. so the people who have played last year started, and all the rookies played the second half. suprisingly, we werent that bad. we caught on very quickly and played the ball well.

before the game, we were stretching and they said make sure you stretch your neck out and stretch everything really good. and wow did that barely help, i cant explain how sore i was the next day. during the game, i didnt think i got hurt that bad or would be that sore.. i noticed some bruises on my legs after though. but you dont notice anything til the next day. i didnt even want to get out of bed it was so bad. my neck felt like he had 15 knots in it, my back had knots and my legs were just so sore. the whole day i layed around in my room hoping it would just go away after taking some motrin. it got better as the day went on.

after playing in a game, i feel great playing the sport. barely anyone knows what its about or has seen a game. its cool doing somethign different than everyone else even though its as intense as it is. im most excited because my mom and sisters are coming up next weekend for our home game and ihavent seen anyone from home in awhileee! so i cant wait :)

september 20th- first home gameee!! :)

Rugby is awesome. I understand it loosely. I dont think Ive ever seen girls rugby. That would probably be fun to watch. There aren't really any girls contact sports out there besides rugby. Good luck with the season.
